NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS-

 New as of 3/27 --Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Pittsfield Township Board of Zoning Appeals on March 7, 2013 April 11th  at 7:30 p.m. in the Pittsfield Township Hall located at the intersection of SR58 and 303 New Russia Town Hall, 46268 Butternut Ridge Rd., Oberlin, Ohio for the purpose of hearing the following appeal:

Donald L. and Deborah L. Ortner, French Creek BioEnergy LLC/Quasar Energy Group are requesting an appeal challenging the Pittsfield Township Zoning Inspector’s issuance of a Cease and Desist Order and Notice of violation alleging that a lagoon constructed off of Quarry Road, PPN #14-00-048-000-001 and 14-00-049-000-019, is (1) an “industrial” use that is not permitted by the Pittsfield Township Zoning Resolution; and (2) that it is a “pond” that requires a special permit under Chapter 4-9 of the Pittsfield Township Zoning Resolution.
